You will be part of the Product Compliance group within the Husqvarna division.
Our main task is to ensure that all products are safe to use and that all regulatory requirements in different markets are met, thereby actively avoiding any liability damages.
Your role
As a chemical compliance specialist you will follow world-wide regulation development of chemical requirements. In your role following tasks are included:
• Be part of our Group Chemical compliance divisional net-work
-Be our representative in external chemical net-works and organizations as well as being our contact person towards authorities in chemical issues
-Adopt and register requirements into our internal requirement database
-Assist product projects with chemical requirements in co-operation with the local product compliance team
-Perform internal chemical audits in internal database as part of product release process
This role also includes both internal and external contacts, when it comes to our internal contacts you will communicate with Group Compliance net-works, Product Compliance team, R&D and Sourcing staff and when it comes to our external contacts it could be industry organizations, authorities and Certifying bodies.
Job Requirements
• Chemical education at Master or Bachelor level and/or experience from work within the field of Chemical regulations.
* Fluent English, verbal and written, is a requirement. Additional languages is beneficial
Skills and Capabilities:
* Good knowledge of chemical requirements (e.g: REACH, RoHS, POPS, Prop65)
* Administrational skills and Good communicator. Well organized, structured and process oriented.
* Appropriate IT knowledge and administrational skills to be able to work in different internal and external databases
