Over the past 10 years Star Stable Entertainment has grown to become a multi-channel entertainment company; the home of an independent record label, short-form animations, book series, comics, and mobile apps. We are currently on an adventure to scale our unique impact in the world with several new games and product lines in development across desktop/mobile.
To help us on this journey we are looking for a Channel, Community & Social Media Manager to lead our team that focuses on growing and managing our fan communities across all owned marketing channels. We want to create an environment that our players want to spend time in and come back to, and you will establish best practices, partners, tools and processes to optimise the success of the Community and Channels team. What you'll be doing:
• Lead and manage the team that is responsible for growing and managing our fan communities across all owned marketing channels.
• Develop a fun and engaging live marketing strategy that focuses on amplifying the things we are doing in the game in order to deepen the engagement, grow our community reach, and attract potential players to Star Stable Entertainment.
• Support the team with strategic planning, ideation of tactics and coaching/feedback on execution.
• Define goals and KPIs for our social media channels and websites. Track performance and turn data into meaningful learnings for the team and stakeholders.
• Drive the day-to-day operations of content creation and communication. Work together with the team, stakeholders and the studio to develop an efficient way of working.
• Evolve our Ambassador program together with the team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the company and communicate feedback and insights from the community
• Ensure a cohesive and compliant player communication and journey across all channels so that our users can find what they need as effortlessly as possible.
• Research new channels and broaden our portfolio of channels (for example, Twitch, TikTok, Snapchat or Reddit) to grow our community reach and ensure relevance over time.
Who are you?
Our candidate has a user-centric approach and knows how to engage a community in a fun way. We believe that you have strong leadership skills and are able to help the team grow and learn. We also think that you:
• Have experience in the gaming industry in a similar position and am able to develop strategic and long-term plans for current products and future products.
• Have strong knowledge of different channels (social media, community, streaming and web).
• Have strong project management skills and are able to support the team and the marketing function with strategic planning, ideation and feedback.
• Are curious about new ways of working and able to provide guidance to stakeholders.
