Background

Schibsted Classified Media is an online classifieds company, being currently the largest of its kind in Europe with over 1,500 employees it is the market leader across numerous countries in Europe. The selected candidate will become the CEO for one of our new international brands within online classifieds, targeting the travel industry.
Responsibilities

Develop business strategies that surpass market needs, capture current trends and deliver competitive advantage
Oversee marketing efforts and ensure sufficient market penetration in targeted segments.
Carry responsibility for overall direction and control of the team
Oversee web site development to ensure that effective solutions are implemented in line with the companys business model
Oversee local administration and ensure proper and effective control, including compliance to policies and procedures
Actively being up to date and in the forefront on trends and inspiration of the development within the online travel industry 

You report to the COO of Schibsted Classified Media Northern Europe and the position is based in Stockholm but requires frequent travel, mostly within Europe.
Profile

You have an academic background on at least a Master's degree level. Knowledge and experience from working in a leading position with online business models is crucial and you have a track record of working closely with developers. Excellent knowledge in English is a prerequisite. You will join dedicated colleagues in a professional organization, but at the same time it has an entrepreneurial atmosphere.
