We are looking for you with experience of how to cooperate and work with different people in an international environment in a pro-active and structured way. You have experience of different remunerations models used in the business and have practical experience of at least one and preferably several of the segments Creative, Production, Research & Insight, PR and Events. It is important that you are a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership who feels comfortable with remote leadership and in driving your own projects towards agreed business goals and timelines.
As a person you have strong communication skills and a drive and motivation to improve and challenge our business with a commercial and analytical approach. We also believe that have:
• Minimum 5 years of experience within Marketing and/or Marketing Procurement.
• A university degree in Business Administration or corresponding.
• Fluency in English, spoken and written.
• Possibility to travel.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Category Content Development represents one of three Categories in Marketing Procurement at IKEA with several Marketing Segments in scope, such as Creative, Production, Research & Insight, PR and Events. Location of this position is flexible and can be either in Malmö, Wiesbaden or London.
In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic purchase of Marketing Services related to one of the Segments of the Category. You will drive the sourcing strategy for your Segment as well as contribute to the development of the other Segments of the Category, the creation of action plans and to drive purchase projects within IKEA globally together with your colleagues from start to finish.
You will monitor the market and strive to fully realize the potential and develop the business. You will also negotiate, execute and follow-up large scale global procurement agreements based on value-chain analysis in close cooperation with key business partners within your business area.
