About the Role
As a Category Analyst for Nordics you will play a crucial role helping Haleon to analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and sales data to provide actionable insights that drive our business strategies.
You will closely collaborate with various teams across the Nordics (including Sweden) as well as senior leadership to better understand our current brand performances at retail level and to turn these findings into opportunities. Further you will lead the development, harmonization & utilization of sell out performance reporting across the Nordic markets.
We are seeking for a data-expert who is not only able to handle and simplify complex data but also passioned about generating insights and has the seniority to shape and influence commercial decision of various sales & marketing departments.
The role is part of our Nordic Category Management team and reports into the Category Management Lead Nordics. The role has Nordic a focus to drive the harmonization and utilization of our sell out data and to support teams with ad-hoc analysis and insights that enables us to further drive the growth of our brands and categories within retail.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop & maintain Nordic dashboards to track key consumption performance indicators; monitor, report and advice on sales performance and market shares.
Conduct competitive analysis to understand market dynamics and identify potential threats and opportunities for the categories we are playing in.
Ensure a consistent performance tracking of new product launches and support teams by finding the right insights and datapoints to strengthen retail stories for new launches and listings.
Leverage existing data and reporting solutions of the wider BU analytic teams and be the central point of contact for data harmonization, exchange and improvements.
Collaborate with marketing, sales and commercial excellence teams to enhance utilization and understanding of sales data throughout the organization.
Drive marketing effectiveness analysis, especially within our DCom channel. Help create dashboards / frameworks for us to measure Dcom media performance to equid the Dcom, Sales and marketings team understand the effectiveness of investments across the funnel, both on and off platform.
Qualifications and Skills: Essential:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Econometrics or related.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to run ad hoc deep dives, to interpret complex data and to provide actionable insights via excellent presentation skills.
Profound experience in creation of automated regular performance reporting in Excel and preferably PowerBI; Expert knowledge of syndicated EPOS data
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with strong customer focus and the capability to influence at different levels in the organization and at retail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with a commitment to delivering on-time and quality results.
Proactive attitude and constant drive for change and improvement.
Fluent in English.
Preferred:
3+ years experience working in FMCG (client or agency side) in analytics roles.
Experience with Grocery, Pharmacy and D-Com retailer.
Demonstrated project management skills leading cross-functional teams.
