We are looking for a self-disciplined and ambitious individual to oversee custodial and daily operations of our Hyper Island AB, Stockholm premises. The Caretaker will perform and monitor cleaning and maintenance of designated facilities and its furnishings and equipment; lock, unlock and monitor facilities
while in use and off hours; and ensure maintenance of detailed records as required.
Responsibilities:
First line support on issues concerning management of facilities.
• Inspects property by a daily walk through to ensure the property is
properly maintained. Makes or suggests any actions needed for repair.
• Contact person towards external suppliers such as cleaning, locksmith, fire and security companies. Ensures cleaning company is performing daily functions and orders extra-cleaning for special events or during school closing.
• Responsible for after-hours lockout and alarm calls Monday through Friday and on weekends.  Responsible for maintenance emergencies.
• Grants, charges and collects access card and card replacement charges from students directly.
• Maintains record of work completed or required for maintenance or leasing agent?s attention during regular business hours. If necessary, submit reports as required by the management or mandated by the
Property management.
• Responds to all complaints concerning premises and maintenance immediately.         
• Makes sure common areas (lecture halls, meeting rooms, reception area, bathrooms) are clean of garbage and debris.
• Support towards Programs (modules/events) such as purchases and furnishing. Short time rent of equipment for certain events, keeping track of suppliers.
• Support towards Executive during events and Master Classes -
Preparing and clearing spaces, prep with necessary equipment and furnishing, Cleaning and materials check.Clearing up lecture halls after events (setting up/taking down furniture, supplies, and equipment)
• Owns vendor contact and is resourceful when it comes to repairs and cost savings. This includes shopping around for the best prices and services.
• First line support for broken or faulty equipment, facilities. Audio/video equipment, assess if it's worth repairing or buying new.
• Repairs, replaces and assembles furniture for staff and students.
• Repairs or replaces equipment such as light bulbs, paper products, screens, batteries, coffee machines etc.- Re-stocking, cleaning.
Education: Gymnasium
Experience:
• You have 3 years minimum experience
Knowledge:
• Superb verbal and written communication skills, in Swedish as well as in English.
Skills & abilities:
• Must have a driver?s license and car.
• Problem-solving skills
• Computer skills: Office Package (Mac Book knowledge a plus)
• Self-starter/independent and service-minded
• Proactive
• Flexible and responsive

• Handyman abilities
• Thoroughly organized and comfortable with managing up, as needed
