We are now looking for a CAD specialist who will join the Global Dispenser Management Team within Category AFH Professional Hygiene. The CAD specialist is responsible for administering the CAD software applications for Tork dispensers. Also included in this role is to have continuous contacts with suppliers and technical innovation managers both to support in development projects, for continuous improvements and quality issues globally. Your main team members will be placed in Sweden, France and the in the US.
The position is located in Gothenburg.
Main Tasks
Administration and continuous improvement of product design software (SolidWorks) to fit drive best practices and standardize among internal users as well as external design resources.
Provide quality and technical/engineering support for product development to Innovation teams in SCA and to engineers in external engineering firms globally
Together with Innovation Team members, plan for documentation procedure and coach on how to ensure projects generate the appropriate documentation for quality assurance, product management & for manufacturers & tool makers to design to our needs with quality and speed.
Develop and support PLM standard formats and system parameters.
Manage all Solid works licenses and maintenance contracts globally.
Gatekeeper for data between the system and external resources.
Key Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience will be considered in place of a Bachelor’s degrees
Experience from 3D modelling system is a requirement and experience with “SolidWorks Enterprise PDM†is a clear plus.
Direct or indirect experience from product development. Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) is a plus.
Experience from working with PLM systems and Adobe is a plus.
Understanding of manufacturing and / or product design of injection moulded parts is plus.
International exposure is a merit.
Fluent in English, both verbally and written.
Ability to travel.
