hela Sverige You will be part of High Voltage Products. We are globally responsible for development, production and sales of high voltage components for power systems within both AC and DC. The unit consists of breakers, capacitors, instrument transformers, surge arresters and cooling systems. We develop and test new products in our high power laboratory, and operate in Swedish and global markets.
HV Components is a business unit within the Power Grids division. High Voltage Products, with bases in Ludvika and Landskrona, has worldwide market responsibility for the development and production of high voltage products for HVAC and HVDC systems. Our product portfolio includes surge arresters, instrument transformers, capacitors and cooling systems (Landskrona). All these products contribute to grid reliability where customer benefits and the environment are a key focus.
You will be part of ABB Capacitors team in Northern Europe. We are a business unit within Power Grids. Through development of a Product Configurator (CapDes) ABB Capacitors has significantly reduced the amount of engineering work needed in tendering and at order stage. Work that previously was made partly manual is now automated, from electrical design to 3D generated drawings and documentation. This has improved quality and speed in tendering and also plays an important part in White-Collar productivity. This initiative stands on 4 pillars of high-end expertise; Electrical design, Product concept engineering, CAD/PDM and IS/IT. Development of the CapDes configurator continuous and is now being on spread through Product Line on a Global level, recognized as strategic initiative called FlexCap. We are now seeking the right candidate for CAD/PDM pillar in this FlexCap initiative.
Tasks
Govern the Pillar of CAD/PDM development in the FlexCap initiative.
Continue adding products into the CREO/PDM structure for the CapDes Configurator in line with the Road-map and maintain current portfolio.
Lead and train for CREO/PDM usage in order design. Pilot is C&F in Ludvika, targeting the global organization with sister factories as next step.
As a CAD/PDM specialist keep close contact with the CAD/PDM development and introduce latest development into our operations.
Experienced mechanical engineer and knowledge in High voltage products and especially Capacitors and Filters. You have extensive experience from CREO and PDM tools such as WebLink & J-Link. Specialist knowledge in modularization and programing in Creo.
