About Neonet
Neonet is an execution service provider that offers independent, flexible and transparent execution services, which significantly reduce the cost of trading for users. About the position
As a C++ developer at Neonet you will be a part of a smaller development team consisting of high-performance members who has a focus on developing algorithms for the trading platform. Your responsibility is design, improvement and further development within C++ with a focus on obtaining high-quality algorithms. The trading system is a business critical and transaction intensive system with high demands on availability. At Neonet you will develop in modern C++ in a distributed system which is scalable and with high performance. They use agile methodology, Kanban, with releases several times a week.
In this position you will get the opportunity to develop yourself in a challenging position at a company which is characterized by a fast and short decision making process. As an employee you are encouraged to take initiatives and your ideas are listened to.
Your qualifications
You have some years of work-experience from C++ development and you are passionate about C++, specially algorithms. Preferably you have a university degree or similar post-secondary education.
Personality-wise you're a problem solver and love turning problems into great solutions. You are curious, knowledge seeking and are dedicated to development. Furthermore you have a drive to develop yourself and are motivated by learning through others and sharing your knowledge with others.
In order to succeed in this position we believe that you are used to work with agile methodology in a bigger production environment with a business critical system. It's important that you are self-driven, proactive and business-oriented. You are interested in test driven development and/or have experience from that.
