The Role
We are growing and therefore we are looking for an experienced Buyer who wants to take on new challenges and join our purchasing team! As Buyer at Plasman you will have the responsibility to take lead in negotiations of quotes from the initiation phase, to sourcing. Based on your sourcing and services you will select the best suited suppliers for our business. Further, you will manage the project development along with your peers and stakeholders until it reaches the SOP. As a Commodity buyer, you will have a purchasing responsibility focusing on areas such as optimizing the supplier base, negotiating, and securing competitive and quality secured agreements, developing best practice purchasing processes. You will also drive continuous improvement within the segment in coordination with our stakeholders' departments
As our Project Buyer you will also play an important role regarding the development and implementation of our processes, standards, and systems of direct material. This means that your will participate and working closely with our stakeholders not only in the budget process but also focus on being able to reach local spend and saving targets according to set goals.
In other words, you will strengthen Plasman's competitive advantage by understanding the business needs to support our market growth.

Who are you?
• BSc or MSc in Business Administration or Engineering Degree or equivalent education level
• Strong purchasing experience mini 5 years
• Work experience from automotive is meritorious
• Demonstrated skills in Project management
• Negotiator by birth
• Drive to execute
• You are used to and enjoy working in an international environment
To be successful in this role
• Excellent spoken and written English (Additional languages are given merit)
• MS Office / SAP fully proficient or other purchasing systems
• An open-minded person with a can-do attitude
• You have an analytical and strategic mindset.
• Eager to learn and develop, both yourself and your work environment
• Responsible, dependable and that you like to do business, since that is what this job is about
• A true team player with belief that the best results are achieved together while having fun
