hela Sverige As a Business Service Manager at Schneider Electric you are between business and IT. You communicate directly with managers and end users to understand the needs and convert them into IT requirements. You will have the responsibility to develop our business and IT teams to manage the complex relationships between business and IT.
You will act as a partner to the business (Single Point of Contact) with the responsibility for all IT related aspects within specific Business Units in Sweden. You will act as an integrator between the business and IT organization, where you secure IT-operations and quality assure IT-projects.
You agree on needs and expectations from the business and work with internal and external IT resources to realize this. Schneider Electric has outsourced all IT except Network and telephony to multiple vendors, so experience from working with outsourcing partners is a plus.
You strengthen the good perception that IT contributes to the evolution of the company and creates opportunities for the business.
Your work arena is broad since it includes cooperation with Managers across business functions, specific project teams, the IPO team as well as external collaborators. Furthermore, you will be responsible for:
• Defining the IT strategy. Identify business needs and convert them into IT requirements and projects..
• Supporting the business in making business cases.
• Acting as a project manager for local Swedish projects
• Understanding the business process and translate them into demands on the IT environment.
• Clarify, validate and challenge needs from key users and process owners.
• Evaluating SLAs, ensure that services delivered meet business requirements
• Communicating to management the IT results, incidents, project demands and costs.
• Writing orders and making sure requirements are communicated to outsourcing partners
The position covers specific business areas and their legal entities within Schneider Electric Sweden. It will require frequent business travel to the various sites within the country and some occasional travel to the Nordic countries. You will be part of the Schneider Electric global IT organization (IPO) and report to the IT Manager for Sweden.
Your qualifications
You hold a bachelor degree, and you have a minimum of 3 years experience from a similar role, and/or several years of experience as an IT project manager for larger projects. You have experience from an international company with a matrix organization. You have good understanding about IT.
You have an analytical mind-set and a good understanding of business needs which you then translate to your technical partners resulting in optimal solutions for the business. You are structured, able to work independently and good at following up your projects. You are a good communicator able to cooperate with different people and functions. You are fluent in English (both written and oral).
