What we are looking for
In this role you will provide leadership in the continuous improvement of business performance for Nuclear Sweden. You will belong to the Operations team at Sydkraft Nuclear Power AB which is a team that consists of high skilled persons with various background and competences.
Together with the Nuclear Sweden leadership team you will develop the vision and aspiration for continuous improvement for all parts of the organization including Sydkraft Nuclear Power AB, OKG AB, Barsebäck Kraft AB, Uniper Engineering Support PPC and the minority owned assets.

What will you work with?
• Support the development of continuous improvement plans with the business to deliver the vision and monitor the effectiveness and impact of plan delivery. Seek the latest thinking on continuous improvement topics and apply this to the Nuclear Sweden business. Provide expert support, coaching, mentoring and training to the business in all continuous improvement topics at all levels of the organization.
• Support central administrative functions located in Malmö in developing and executing continuous improvement. Create and maintain a Swedish improvement forum/community together with the central Uniper Operational Excellence team - to include Swedish based functions (Procurement, HR, Finance etc), Hydro, Thermal and CCGT colleagues - to share experience, learning and good practice examples.
• Support and develop the performance management system of Nuclear Sweden.
• Ensure alignment with the central Uniper Operational Excellence team in terms of approach, methodology and tools.
• Share learnings across the Uniper group and seek collaboration where possible for the benefit of Nuclear Sweden and the wider Uniper business.
• Engage where appropriate with external stakeholders such as WANO etc., in the interests of Nuclear Sweden.
• You will report to the Vice President of Operations and the Nuclear Sweden Management Team.
• The position is located in Malmö but frequent travels to all Swedish facilities and to Düsseldorf are required, approximately 30-40 travel days/year.

Uniper is part of Sweden's critical infrastructure. We carry out security clearance before employment, in accordance with the Security Protection Act. If applicable health and drug tests are also performed.

Who we are seeking
You have a Master of Science or similar education alternatively 5-10 years' experience from a related industry. You have knowledge and a background in Continuous Improvement/Lean Six Sigma/Operational Excellence methodology and approach with demonstrated application in practice.
Experience and knowledge of working in a multi-cultural organization, and dealing with the complexities of a functional and regional matrix organization are needed.
You are fluent in Swedish and English, written as well as spoken.

As a person you have the ability to inspire, lead, engage, coach, mentor and train at all levels in an organization.
