Business IT Analyst at Scania Credit AB
Scania Credit is a group of finance companies within the Scania Financial Services organization. We specialize in financing and insurance solutions to Scania customers on emerging markets in more than 15 countries, mainly in Central and Eastern Europe and Asia. Our group, together with representation offices and operational subsidiaries, is managed by our dedicated staff of about 70 people in offices in Almaty, Bangkok, Belgrade, Bucharest, Hong Kong, Kiev, Kuala Lumpur, Ljubljana, Sarajevo, Sofia, Södertälje, Taipei and Zagreb. The Group Head Office, as well as the legal unit Scania Credit AB, is based in Södertälje where we offer cross border financing solutions to customers in Eastern Europe and Middle East.
Job Description
The IT department of Scania Credit AB is responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the IT portfolio from a business demand point of view. As we are currently implementing a new common system for several of our markets, we are now recruiting to strengthen our team with focus on the interface to the Process and System owners and the Maintenance coordination.
The Business IT Analyst mainly focuses on development of our common systems and/or processes. You will be driving the maintenance development work and actively work to develop the support concept for the common system. Key responsibilities as a Business IT Analyst:
• Maintenance coordination - coordination of the new common system's maintenance process
• Application Maintenance - handle incidents and change requests
• Manage and host Maintenance decision forums
• Business demand - describe business demands as functional and non-functional requirements
• Documentation - develop and update the knowledgebase documentation
• Conduct analysis, planning, testing and implementation of solutions
• Projects - participate in projects as Project Manager or project member
Job requirements
We are looking for a structured and business oriented team member with ambitions to grow with us. This is a new position, so you should feel comfortable in a situation where structures and ways of working are not yet established.
Working in the area between business and IT requires that you understand and can handle both perspectives. You can work independently and have the will to create and maintain structures and processes. You have a degree in Finance and Business, IS/IT or have acquired the knowledge in your profession.
You are good at identifying and understanding problems and opportunities. You can see what is needed to solve the problem or realize the opportunity. In order to understand business requirements and explain solutions we value your talents for communication and service and your team working skills. A good knowledge of English is essential, as the job offers plenty of international contacts, both within Scania Credit Group and externally.
