WHAT IS AXIS?

Axis is expanding its worldwide sales and marketing organization to help meet growing market demand. This expansion will enable Axis to better serve the current and future needs of its customers and its partner ecosystem and will specifically include more corporate and local resources to support specialist competencies.

As a result of this expansion Axis is adding central and regional resources to enhance network video education, training, implementation and support to provide solutions tailored for customers in high-growth industry segments such as transportation, retail, banking & city surveillance. The A&E Business Development Manager position will form part of a rapidly expanding regional team, dedicated to driving revenue opportunities within prioritised segments via a focused consultants program.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for generating awareness and demand of Axis products within the consultant and A&E community, to maximize the significant growth potential for network video in the Nordic market.

Working collaboratively with the regional sales and business development team, you will identify, target and build relationships with the key consultants in the industry - creating a 'pull' from the market and a significant interest in Axis solutions.

As part of the role you will own responsibility for defining and executing the Axis A&E program in the Nordics, aligning the approach and messaging with the wider business objectives of the entire region.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Implement and develop the Axis A&E program within the Nordic market
• Develop and track objectives and KPIs to measure performance
• Leverage your existing relationships with key consultants
• Proactively engage and build relationships with new consultants
• Identify and build relationships with consultants operating in the IT market that can drive incremental business opportunities with network video
• Support consultants in writing specifications around Axis network video products
• Identify and cultivate commercial opportunities for Axis network video solutions
• Manage Axis representation in key associations & lobbying forums
• Act as a spokesperson for network video within the Nordic consultants market
• Market the A&E program (through events, seminars, tradeshows, PR)
• Work collaboratively with other regional A&E BDM’s to ensure use of best practice
• Align the A&E program with our regional  sales and business development activities and building a project pipeline through specification of Axis Products into new projects

This is a job that requires travelling across the Nordic countries and some travel to the UK will be necessary.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for experienced, results driven business development manager, with a proven track record and extensive experience of working with consultants and influencing specifications based around video surveillance.

You will have a network of contacts throughout the Nordic consultant market and be adept at opening doors and building relationships in new areas. You are comfortable with communicating at all levels in an organization and understand the value of building long term relationships.

The right candidate should be articulate and possess excellent presentation skills. You will have experience of developing and executing business plans, with a proven track record of delivering results that meet or exceed your objectives.

You will have a strong technical background and a high level of technology expertise within the network video market.
