We are seeking a seasoned Cutover Lead to join our deployment team for a strategic ERP transition within the Paper and Pulp industry. This role is critical to ensuring a seamless switch from legacy systems to a new SAP S/4HANA environment. With the project already in the Build phase for the first release (covering Finance, Tax, Sales, Supply Chain, and direct material Procurement) and Design activities underway for the second release (Maintenance and indirect Procurement), your expertise will be essential to orchestrate a smooth Business Go-Live for our pilot mill, and to establish robust business continuity plans.
Role Objectives:
• Strategic Cutover Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive Business Cutover Approach that outlines key transition activities from legacy systems to SAP, identifying crucial milestones across various business areas.
• Detailed Cutover Management: Lead the creation, execution, and monitoring of a detailed cutover plan that coordinates activities between business, data migration, and technical teams. This includes managing ramp down, freeze, and ramp up tasks.
• Business Readiness & Go-Live: Ensure thorough readiness checks during the cutover phase, oversee all activities during the Go-Live week, and manage contingency plans to secure business continuity in case of unforeseen delays.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders-including implementation partners, workstream leads, and business units across multiple regions (primarily Sweden, Finland, and the US)-to align cutover plans and communication.
• Hypercare Support: Provide critical support during the hypercare period, facilitating the transition from Go-Live to steady-state operations and swiftly addressing issues that might impact release scope, quality, or schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define a high-level Business Cutover Approach that captures the transition from legacy systems to SAP, outlining key activities and dates for each affected area.
• Develop, manage, and monitor a detailed cutover plan integrating tasks from both business and technical perspectives, ensuring smooth synchronization of ramp down, freeze, and ramp up phases.
• Conduct Business Readiness Checks and ensure all activities are aligned with the overall cutover strategy.
• Collaborate with implementation partners and cross-functional teams to build and refine the business cutover plan.
• Establish and maintain clear communication channels with all stakeholders, ensuring timely updates and coordinated responses to challenges.
• Lead the execution of the Go-Live week, providing oversight and immediate resolution of any issues.
• Assist in the hypercare period, supporting the transition from launch focus to ongoing operational support.
• Contribute to risk assessments, issue resolution, and continuous improvement efforts throughout the deployment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Educational Background: Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional Experience:
• Proven track record in planning and executing cutover activities for major roll-out projects, preferably within manufacturing.
• Extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects in complex, multi-landscape environments.
• Strong project planning skills and familiarity with various methodologies.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Excel, and Microsoft Project.
• Language Proficiency:
• English as the primary language.
• Swedish as a secondary language.
• Soft Skills:
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset, with the ability to focus on both the big picture and detailed execution.
Logistics:
• Assignment Duration: April 2025 - December 2025 (with a high likelihood of extension).
• Location: Main office in Solna, with travel to various operational sites as required.
• Work Model: Hybrid, with some travel necessary across Sweden, Finland, and the US.
If you are a proactive leader with a keen eye for detail and a proven ability to manage complex ERP cutovers, we invite you to apply and lead a pivotal phase in our digital transformation journey.
