The finance function at Scania Finans consists of a team of business controllers as well as an accounting and reporting department with financial controllers who work closely together to support the management as well as the organization with performance reports, analysis, and decision material. This task demands qualitative, timely, and relevant financial information.
My vision as Finance Manager is that SFA's business controllers act as true partners to the business. By being close to the business and thus getting a deep understanding of the needs, you will be able to support with insights, analysis, and models that they didn't even know that they needed. I work with a team - a great team, and as a leader, I have an open and coaching leadership style where mutual trust and respect are central. By having a fun and exciting environment we develop as a team and individuals, the core, which for me is a top priority!
Your task
In order to be successful in this position, you need to be able to combine a good business understanding with analytical and financial skills. You will be responsible for the business control of our seven markets within SFA as well as the SFA group as a whole in close cooperation with the team of business controllers. Both when it comes to the financial follow-up and analysis, financial planning and management accounting as well as acting as a business partner in different projects and discussions. You will also work with continuous improvements and development of our current processes.
In addition, you will support SFA's management and organization in understanding the current performance from a financial perspective and how the current performance is contributing to reaching the financial and operational goals of the company. Furthermore, you will have a key part in the financial planning and budgeting processes of SFA. You will report to SFA's Finance Manager.
Your profile
We are looking for a person with a passion for business and a good understanding as well as interest in business financial performance with the ambition to contribute to Scania Finans finance department and its continued development. The ideal candidate for this position will have:
• A degree in finance, business administration, economics or similar.
• 3+ years' previous experience from controlling.
• Knowledge of accounting concepts, rules, and regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Professional fluency in English and Swedish.
• Experience from developing and/or using Business Intelligence systems is a merit.
• Experience from banking, finance and / or insurance business is seen as a merit.
To be able to solve complex tasks you need to be analytical as a person and have high problem-solving skills. The ability to focus on details without losing grip of the big picture is therefore essential in order to succeed in your role. A service-minded and solution-oriented attitude is something we place great value in, therefore you need to have both social and communicative skills since the position will expose you to both internal and external contacts.
