For a role that acts on an operational as well as strategic level, we are now looking for a talented and ambitious Business Controller for the Nordic Sales Cluster. In this role you work independently, although sharing knowledge is a vital part of who we are, and we are now able to provide this opportunity for someone who enjoys an environment where you are close to the decisions and able to influence.
Key performance areas
Our Nordic Sales Cluster (Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and the Baltic states), within Sandvik Coromant, is dedicated to serving our customers and ensuring sales efficiency and growth, by using modern sales processes and tools. As Business Controller, you are primarily responsible for supporting the business in decision-making by providing transparent financial information. You actively consult in the areas of Profit & Loss, Net Working Capital and Balance Sheet items. You identify gaps and opportunities and work with cost savings as well as efficiency improvement processes. Important part of your mission is to assist Sandvik Coromant's business and functions with forecasts, analysis, comments and reports, as well as follow-up concerning our business performance. You are also part of the proactive development of Business Control in terms of effectiveness, systems and methods. Collaboration with shared service centers is also included. As part of your role, you participate in the management team of the Nordic sales cluster.
Location of this position is Kista, Sweden. Occasional travel abroad may occur.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in economics and preferably three to five years' experience from working with business control, financial control or business analyses. You know your way around business financial systems, and as our business is truly global, your skills in English must be excellent, both verbally and in writing.

You have an analytical mindset, the ability to work independently and you have a natural talent for identifying trends and easily digest large amounts of data. To be successful in this role you need the confidence to profoundly question assumptions, and also understanding the importance of accuracy and good communication. You are also able to manage complex situations where time constraints, conflicting and insufficient information and high demands on quality are fundamental.
