About the job
As Business Controller, you will support the CIO and the IT Management Team. The main focus is on leading the operational IT controlling and forecasting activities, ensuring appropriate allocations to the business entities, guiding and advising the IT and the Value Stream organization on financial matters.
In this role, you will own the financial model including both digital services and investments, and lead an effort to significantly simplify the financial model. Working with all relevant key stakeholders, to ensure timely and thorough communication of the financials and value delivery, delivering analysis and reporting on a regular and ad-hoc basis.
Who you are
You are a value-focused Business Controller, with experience in a complex international environment, preferably with good exposure to IT related to financial management and controlling. You are a self-driven, and analytical person who can switch between a detailed hands-on approach and driving the bigger picture agenda. Challenge the status quo is your motto, therefore you have demonstrable experience driving change. You enjoy working in complex international environments and teams. But most importantly, you are passionate about what you do and you want to make the change for the better.
What you know
A very large part of the Corporate IT organization's accounting today is in project form; therefore, it is an advantage that you have experience in project controlling. You have solid knowledge in accounting in general and in accounting for Capex projects. Preferably, you have experience in IT-related financial management and controlling practices.
Ideally, you have had exposure to agile methodologies and understand how accounting practices can support agile delivery. And you hold a university degree in Finance, and are a good communicator, with professional fluency in English.
