hela Sverige The most important enabler of Nordea's business transformation to meet the future demands of our customers and markets is the Core Banking Programme (CBP). CBP is implementing a simplified product portfolio for deposit and lending, digitalised processes supporting the products and customer data (e.g. on-boarding) and a new IT platform supporting this for Nordea in the Nordics.
The position we offer
As a Business architect you will take lead in aligning business requirements and developing the future state business architecture and technology roadmap in close cooperation with the CBP delivery streams as well as stakeholders across Nordea. You will own and articulate a dimension of the Business Architecture and guide the development teams as they operationalise it.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Develop business solutions and evaluate options, risks and benefits
• Translate the organisation's strategies into directional guidance for the CBP
• Participate in the development and review of business requirements, processes and workflows to ensure delivery of consumable products and solutions
• Collaborate with business to identify and evaluate business problems and define solutions
• For your dedicated area, ensure sound, holistic business architecture aligned with the surrounding landscape
• Research, identify and recommend industry best practices to solve business problems
The qualifications you need
To apply for this role it is essential that you have proven Business Architecture / Change Management experience gained within ideally a financial services environment. You have a broad view of business and appreciation for strategy and capabilities, processes, governance and enabling technologies to understand the relevant business objectives and issues. You have experience with complex (cross-border) change and transformation projects, capability modelling, developing roadmaps, organisational design and experience of dealing with senior stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have :
• Extensive experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives
• Experience working with third party providers and vendors in a global environment
• Experience of business modelling and process design using a variety of techniques and tools
• Experience in working with business leaders and managers to define applications changes, negotiate priorities and implementation dates, agree on service level standards, and 'partner' for success
Skills:
• Ability to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate high-level business requirements for development of changes to existing business processes, polices and/or information systems and the ability to translate the issues and results back to the business and IT teams
• Critical thinking and creative problem solving skills. Ability to think out of the box, solve problems, encourage innovation and manage change
• Ability to perform effective stakeholder management - adjusting communication delivery to suit audience, and adjusting behaviour to suite political environment(s)
• Ability to build strong working relationships, with IT and business managers
• Ability to influence, network and collaborate with stakeholder
