The arena
ISSA (Information Strategy, Systems and Analytics ), as part of D&E (Delivery and Enablement), is accountable for managing the information assets and systems owned by GRAPSQA (Global Regulatory Affairs, Patient Safety and Quality Assurance), ensuring they are effectively governed (across the enterprise), and for deploying analytics and informatics expertise to meet GRAPSQA's scientific, business and compliance needs.
ISSA is tasked with providing analytical and informatics support, which includes decision-support strategy, development of business reporting dashboards for GRAPSQA (including compliance reporting), supporting data governance (managing quality and integrity of data), and providing ad hoc analytical expertise and support to GRAPSQA and the wider enterprise, such that the information we own is effectively managed and exploited for business purposes. Its remit encompasses the following systems and services:
• Regulatory Knowledge systems (e.g. GEL, ANGEL, TARDIS etc)
• Pharmacovigilance and safety compliance systems (e.g. SAPPHIRE, JASPER etc)
• Information management systems (e.g. RADAR, SPICE etc).
• Safety analytics (expertise and toolsets used to support acquisition and analysis of safety data).
• Safety informatics (standardization, aggregation and exploitation of multi-source safety data).
• Business and compliance analytics (expertise and toolsets used to support analysis and reporting of business and compliance data.
The role
Reporting to an ISSA Section Director, and task managed by the Lead, ISSA Business and Compliance Analytics, the jobholder provides technical analytics expertise in support to ISSA and the GRAPSQA business.
Responsibilities
• Provides analytical support for Business Compliance and Analytics (Regulatory Knowledge systems; Pharmacovigilance Compliance Systems; Safety Analytics; Safety Informatics; and GRAPSQA Information Management), such that it is capable of delivering a high quality service to its customers, that meets or exceeds agreed goals/objectives (GRAPSQA, GMD and the wider enterprise).
• Leads specific projects, as required, which ensure the full exploitation of the GRAPSQA data.
• Supports the delivery of a Business Analytic / Informatics strategy for GRAPSQA that is aligned with global strategic priorities and the prioritised needs of the GRAPSQ business, its customers and partners.........
