About the job:
You will join the onsite team in Skövde as Business Analyst and be an essential part of our constant strive for Customer Success! Your main focus will be IT quality and continuous improvement from a LEAN perspective. And you will be part of the QRIT team as QRIT Chairman together with other Chairmans. This requires great business knowledge and a holistic view of systems/applications for the local Volvo plant. The daily work, which is supported by tools such as EWO and Kaizen, aims at continuous improvements and requires cross-functional collaboration between production, maintenance, HCL and Group Digital & IT.
This position also includes Service Runtime Leader role, which requires you to build and maintain a successful network for global applications. You will be a member of our Focus Area IT team in our important VPS journey. In addition to the above, you will hold the Change Coordinator role for the local site and secure that local IT changes are handled in accordance with process.
The Business Analyst is a crucial role for our local delivery and requires good understanding of the business goals, stakeholder needs and our local plant - both operational and system wise.
Some of the activities you will be working with are:
Chairman for QRIT - Quick Response IT (the LEAN methodology for IT activities) - work closely with our local Volvo plant preventing incidents from happening. Drive and prepare daily QRIT meetings to follow up incidents and problems
Participate in morning meetings in the assembly area and machining area (and when needed in our foundry)
Be a driver in our continuous improvement work
Focus Area IT - strive for business success through VPS - active member in our team
Change Manager, have a holistic view on changes that might affect the local Volvo plant
Drive local CAB (Change Advisory Board) meeting once a month before maintenance window
Participate in building and maintaining a prosperous relationship with the business
Participate in weekly Service Runtime Lead meetings and escalate incidents affecting global applications
Continuously strive to improve existing ways of working
Facilitate workshops and work with continuous improvements
Understand complex issues and identify opportunities and risks
Support quality assurance activities of end user support, for example root cause analysis, end-to-end support quality
About you:
We expect you to have a degree from university studies and a couple of years of experience working with quality assurance to support production or similar. We require that you have good knowledge of LEAN and previous experience from working with quality. You have solid knowledge of support tools such as Remedy and/or Service Now, as well as EWO and Kaizen that gives you the necessary foundation to deliver good results.
In addition, you are a great team player and always look to further develop yourself and others.
Qualifications / requirements for the job:
Relevant university degree
2-3 years of experience from working with quality and/or similar
Previous experience from IT within manufacturing industry
Experience from LEAN and working with continuous improvements
Experience and knowledge in the change process
A curious and quality driven mindset, that always seeks to disclose the real root cause of any issue
Good communication skills in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
Driving license
