JOB DESCRIPTION
You will work closely with and report to our Chief Strategy and Business Development officer. Your main tasks include developing corporate and innovation strategies, finding new business opportunities, study market trends, financial data, and performance numbers, and carefully evaluate potential business opportunities. You will also use financial models and in-depth financial analysis to figure out if these opportunities make sense for us. Your ability to create detailed projections and analyze different scenarios is important for making smart decisions and assessing risks. You will collaborate with your colleagues across the organization to create a team effort that helps us achieve our business goals and make Erasteel grow sustainably.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
In this job, you will have several important tasks. You will drive awareness and conduct insightful market and transaction analysis, keeping a close eye on the market's performance, which includes trends, general market shares, asset quality and competition generics. You will also oversee capital expenditure management, ensuring that the planning and allocation of capital expenditures align with the company's strategic objectives and deliver a strong return on investment. You will create and maintain customer profiles to gain a deeper understanding of the target audience, their needs, preferences and pain points. You will work to ensure the organization is fully aligned with the business strategy and allocate resources appropriately. You will be responsible for measuring the effectiveness of both the strategy and the organization in general, using and analyzing key performance indicators that cover both financial and non-financial metrics. Ultimately, you will inspire and engage the entire organization to successfully deliver the company's strategy.
YOUR PROFILE
Education: A master's degree in business administration or a related field is required.
Relevant work experience: We require a minimum of 5 years of experience as a business analyst in the field of business strategy and development. Experience in working with venture capital projects, analyzing customers, and assessing assets is considered an advantage.
Analytical Skills: Very good experience in managing, structuring, and analyzing large amounts of data and the ability to formulate conclusions and act on the insights provided. It is also beneficial to have good knowledge of Excel, and preferably also of BI tools such as Power BI or Qlik, with the ability to build your own models and perform analyzes.
Language Skills: Fluent English is mandatory, and proficiency in Swedish and French is advantageous.
