INTRODUCTION
We are looking for a Business Analyst for UCHP, an IT solution for Warranty- and Service contract claim process.
Are you interested in working with a global solution within a global team? Our stakeholders represent all TD/BA's and all brands in the Volvo Group. The team members are located in both Sweden and India and the delivery is managed from Gothenburg, Lyon and Bangalore.

The Department Quality and Warranty is responsible for the management of all deliveries for core solutions in the quality and warranty portfolio (main applications are UCHP and Argus).Within the delivery the team has full responsibility of onetime (cost, scope, quality) and runtime deliveries (SLA fulfillment, cost, quality of service). The function consists of Team Leaders, Solution Leaders, Solution Architects, Business Solution Experts and Business Analysts, complemented with our more technical resources working as Application Developers and Quality assurance specialists.

In our team the current focus is the delivery of UCHP - a Business critical solution used in Volvo Group. The team has members located in both Gothenburg and Bangalore with a main focus to deliver one time changes throughout the whole lifecycle from request to deploy. Today in the team we have 2 Business Analyst/Solution experts collaborating with the business requester. The team consist of totally 6 employees who are supported by additional technical skills in the delivery.
UCHP (Unified Claim handling process) is a global warranty and service contract claim handling system used by all TD/BAs/ brands, centrally and on market level (30 000 users worldwide). It is one of the core applications in Quality & Warranty and Service contract business processes providing support in variety of functions such as coverage maintenance, automatic and manual claim handling, multiple types of crediting notes, financial calculations and transactions as well as handling of safety campaigns and technical material analysis.
It consists of several independent modules which correlate and deliver information required for the claiming process, claim validation purposes and financial settling.
UCHP has numerous integrations with external systems required for claim registration, user access, vehicle, labour and material validations.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
In your role as Business Analyst you will participate in workshops to understand and evaluate stakeholder needs and secure solution requirements can be understood by both Business and IT and used in the application team. You will have a close collaboration with solution process and key users, you will support the development team as well as the team supporting the end users.

Your responsibilities
Work in pre-studies, projects and in runtime delivery
Lead and facilitate workshops to identify business demands and opportunities.
Manage the requirement process and coordination
Support business in prioritization of scope and in selecting/designing optimal IT solutions based on stakeholder and end user needs
Dare to challenge and to be challenged, listen and take into consideration. Balance technical solution towards business needs to find the best solution
Raise issues and concerns with requested changes of solution as well as proposed implementation
Deliver appropriate artefacts to clearly communicate with business stakeholders and with the development team
Collaborate and communicate with the IT-team and business stakeholders
Drive and support in change management initiatives
Continuously work to improve ways of working

As a Business Analyst you will create an efficient and trustful day-to-day operation.
The Business Analyst is responsible to contribute to and support around solution requirements. It includes both one time and runtime deliveries in application management context. You have proven experience in business and excel in demonstrating core values according to the Volvo Way.

Understanding the end to end process of Warranty and Service Contract and its system overview
