On behalf of one of our clients, a major pharmaceutical company in Södertälje, we are now looking for a biostatistician for a six months consultancy beginning in the middle of August.
Publiceringsdatum2011-06-24Dina arbetsuppgifterIn the role you will perform statistical review of in vivo models for testing efficacy of compounds, in order to automate the statistical analysis so that researchers can analyse studies themselves. Furthermore, you will provide recommendations for study design including necessary sample sizes, appropriate statistical method and reporting of results. You will also work with the Informatics department to provide input for the statistical web tool connected to the SAS server.
Your role will also involve interaction with a team of statisticians performing similar work.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
We want you to have a degree in biostatistics or statistics with experience from biostatistical applications, with strong technical skills. You are also an experienced SAS user.
You have an ability to communicate statistical matters to non-statisticians as well as a genuine interest in the application of statistical methodology in pharmaceutical development.
