Bid Manager, Global Sales

With a constant growing number of customers and orders, we are now seeking a business focused Bid Manager to lead the Bid Management work in our Sales Management team. The Bid Manager reports to Director of Sales Management.

The Role:
In your role as Bid Manager you coordinate the commercial engagement with our customers, and create complete customized commercial and technical offerings. You propose and negotiate prices and business models for each bid, and prepare business cases including time, resource, investment and unit costs related to the bid. You control and approve deliveries to customers and lead the day-by-day aspects of individual bids. You are responsible for responding quickly and professionally to RFIs and RFQs from customers, partners and prospective customers.

You are expected to develop and improve ways of working, and define and document routines and processes to increase quality and efficiency in our Bid Management work. You work closely together with the Director Sales Management and provide support to the global Sales Team and contribute to the development of the team. You are responsible for ensuring that sales processes are updated and maintained in our internal operational system.

The work location is Malmoe.

Your Background:
You hold a Master of Science or Business and have more than 5 years' experience in international bid work, preferably in the US or Asia. We expect that you have more than 5 years' experience in technical components/systems to mobile phones, tablets or computer manufacturers.

Our business language is English, therefore excellent English skills (both written and verbal) are required. Good negotiation skills are needed, as you will be in direct contact with international partners and customers.

You have a track record of providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with customers, prospects and colleagues. You show a strong personal drive and are used to working independently. In order to manage bids successfully, you need to have very good leadership and communication skills. We expect that you are creative, business focused and adapt easily to change. You organize your work in a structured way and put great attention to details.

We expect that you are willing to travel, as extensive business travel is needed from time to time.
