PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Bid controller, as part of the bid team, will manage and support the bid process for all new bids from a financial point of view. Ensuring that the governance process is followed and challenging the set-up and the input from the Group Finance functions (Taxation, Treasury, Structure Finance, Accounting etc). Validating the committed input from functions and ensuring efficient handover process to Project Management.
IN YOUR ROLE YOU WILL:
• Coordinate and validate the commercial & contractual set-up and the input from the Group Finance functions (Taxation, Treasury, Structured Finance, Accounting etc.)
• Prepare and validate the bid calculations
• Analyse and challenge the cost base and assumptions from all functions to assure sound financials for the execution of the project.
• Present and defend the financial section of the Blue Book at Regional, Divisional Reviews and at Group Reviews
• Act as pro-active counterpart in all bid related matters to Regional team & Division bid team
• Active strong business partner to bids and sales in order to reach low cost and low risk solutions.
• Ensure that Bombardier bid controlling directive is followed
• Monitor changes in financial parameters between bid submittal and negotiation and inform management on the impact
• Make sure final estimates are signed-off by the concerned functions (Engineering, Procurement, etc)
• University degree in Finance or Business Administration
• Business mind-set
• Between 5 to 10 years of proven working experience
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel. SAP/VCM
• Willingness for occasional travelling
• Open minded, easily adaptable, positive attitude towards new challenges
• Demonstrates diplomacy, positive attitude, flexibility and easily adaptable
• Self-motivated with good time management skills
• English and Swedish business fluent are mandatory for this role, German, Russian and Polish are considered a plus
