Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
H&M Assortment is where we design and develop our fashion collections for a wide variety of customers all over the world. We create an assortment that offers the latest styles and inspiration, from unique fashion pieces to affordable essentials. At Assortment you will be a part of a mixed team consisting of designers, pattern makers, product developers and planners, all working together to create the best customer offer while at the same time influencing H&M on a global scale. We aim to become industry leaders in creating irresistable products and are building a fast moving and creative organization that is centered around the product.
As an Assortment Controller, you are responsible for the controlling and planning function for your categories. You will together with the Assortment Manager and Assortment Designer set and implement the strategies for your categories, and identify and act on potential for sustainable growth and profitability on short and long term in all relevant touchpoints.
Key responsibilities:
Set and follow-up strategies for demand, supply, profitability, sustainability, and flexibility on global and regional level for your categories.
Responsible for the controlling and planning within your division (13-20 direct reports), and you are as well part of the management team for controlling and planning for the customer group.
Lead the team with a clear vision to facilitate progress, commitment, and collaboration. Support in staffing the total planning in the best possible way considering total H&M as well as the area of responsibility.
Cross-collaborate and contribute to developing the overall Customer Group and the H&M Brand.

WHO YOU ARE:
Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience within Controlling, Planning, Merchandising, or similar field connected to Assortment.
Degree within business or engineering.
Experience from a leadership role - building high performing teams in a dynamic environment.
Proven track record of setting, implementing, and managing controlling & planning strategies.
Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain and garment flow complexity and how that can impact customer experience.
A holistic mindset and a track record of driving and achieving profitable sales results along with a holistic mindset.
Strong leadership qualities, strategic vision, and analytical expertise
A passion about driving results and you use your analytical skills to enable an outstanding customer offer through enhancing the output of creativity
The ability to understand and drive the omni growth agenda using a customer centric approach
An understanding of the omni retail situation and the connection to macro economic trends, while successfully driving business change
