The current Assistant for Powertran Purchasing will move on to new challenges and we are now searching for a successor.

I started working within Scania over 30 years ago. I have had several positions within Purchasing and I'm now head of Purchasing Powertrain. I'm just over 55 years and I like doing business and helping others to develop. I spend my free time with my friends and family in Mariefred, as well as watching sports and driving my motorbike. People view me as a calm, confident and a happy person. I do value diversity, respect for individuals and people who share their energy and knowledge with others.
The teams
You will report to the Senior Vice President Purchasing Powertrain and be a member of the extended Purchasing Management team.
You will also be an important member of our great Purchasing Assistant Team. The team works with continuous improvements for the whole Purchasing. On weekly meetings we align within administrative and department areas for ONE Purchasing.
You
We are looking for someone who have a passion for administrative tasks, is open minded and is professional in giving service and support. You have an extrovert personality with social skills and like to build relationship. You make own decisions, work proactively and thorough.
We believe that your experiences is as assistant or secretary, preferably within an organisation supporting on a high management level.
We see that you have a professional feeling for details, integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
You need to be fluent in English since we are working globally as well as having a rich diversity of languages within Powertrain and Purchasing. It is also important that you have good knowledge in Swedish language.
You have excellent experience in MS Office skills - Office 365.
The tasks
You support and work closely with the Senior Vice President in daily operation with calendar e-mail management, travel bookings and contact with internal as well as external customers. You will also support the Director of projects, Head of SE Engine Purchasing, and Head of SE Transmission Purchasing. You will also work closely together with the administrators and the controller in the department.
You coordinate the yearly plan which include management meetings department meetings, conferences, off-site meetings among other things.
