We are nowlooking for an enthusiastic engineer to join our Chip Platforms IP team at our headquarters in Lund, Sweden.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
You will be part of the ASIC verification team responsible for ensuring that Axis' digital integrated circuits performs correctly before the chip is manufactured. We work with agile methods and you will take part in all phases of the chip development cycle. Our verification flow is based on state of the art techniques and tools. Object-oriented architectures and frameworks are a fundamental part of how we design and implement our verification environments.
Our hardware blocks often implement functionality such as image processing, video compression and computer vision. As a verification engineer you will also have a chance to learn about and work with the algorithms behind the hardware. In addition to verification tasks hardware modelling and low level software development may also be part of the job.
We place great emphasis on continuous improvement and work tasks may include investigating new verification technologies or evaluating new tools. There are also opportunities to write papers and present at international conferences.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for an experienced engineer with an exceptional talent for programming and a genuine interest in ASIC verification. Our verification environments are often quite elaborate, so it is important that you have an aptitude for understanding, implementing and maintaining complex software systems.
Prior experience of hardware verification using SystemVerilog, UVM and formal methods is desirable, but not mandatory.
As a person, we believe you are analytical, systematic and have an attention to detail. As teamwork is crucial for Axis and for the Chip Platform IP group it is important that you are communicative and can contribute to a good team spirit promoting a creative and stimulating work environment.
