Are you a driven team player with the ambition to further develop through new challenges? If so, this can be the right opportunity for you. As Area Sales Manager you will be part of a strong team of professionals at Instrument Transformers, High Voltage Products in Ludvika.
As a part of the global sales team, you will be working actively with your assigned customers, countries, and applications. You will promote our Instrument Transformers, customer values and services, and develop our market together with our colleagues globally.
High Voltage Instrument Transformers is a business unit within Hitachi Energy with a worldwide responsibility for development, production, and sales of instrument transformers for AC and DC power systems. High voltage plays an important role in reliable and energy efficient power systems.
Your responsibilities
In this exciting role as Area Sales Manager, your main mission will be marketing and selling of instrument transformers to assigned countries or customers
Analyze customer needs and specifications and prepare technical/commercial offers. Work closely with the engineering team to determine the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solution
Negotiate with customer on technical, contractual, and commercial content of the proposal. Coordinate with internal functions the analysis of legal, contractual clauses, risks and costs tied to the project
Create market plans, explore, and develop new business opportunities
Perform hit/lost proposal analysis, identify potential cause, and recommend future actions
Build strong relationships with customers/partners and have responsibility for budget and forecasts
Hold customer workshops and sales trainings, carry out regular customer visits and participate in trade fairs

Your background
We highly value your personality and see that you are a driven and curious team player with an independent and solution-oriented working style
The role requires that you are a communicative person and have an excellent ability to create networks
As a foundation, you hold a university degree in Engineering, Business, or similar
As you will be working in a global environment, fluency in English, written and spoken alike is required. Swedish and other languages are an advantage
Willingness to travel (up to 20%)
Experience from similar roles is seen as a plus
