At Johnson Controls Hitachi Air conditioning, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager, who will play a key role in the development of new growth strategies and solutions to create sustainable long-term growth in the Scandinavian market. We offer the most diverse range of air conditioning products in the industry globally, which are delivered through distribution partners to a wide customer base across residential, commercial and industrial market segments.
As Area Sales Manager, you will manage and expand our network of distribution partners, as you support them on promotion, specification and technical support for the markets in Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

You may work from home or you can join one of our Nordic offices. You should expect 30-50 % travel.
How you will do it
As our Area Sales Manager, you will carry a number of responsibilities, as you:
• Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for individual countries; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
• Responsible for meeting the sales targets and create profitable growth of the region through effective planning and budgeting, as well as implementing local sales programs and field action plans.
• Promote products to distributor network by understanding and linking the end user needs, requirements and business objectives to JCHAC products in order to provide a total value solution and competitive advantage for our partners.
• Maintain sales volume, solutions mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
• Map potential customers and generate leads for the organization for new opportunities.
• Build and manage long-term customer relationships/partnerships by holding business reviews to assess opportunities for sales and providing excellent service and support.
• Promote, motivate, coach and develop the customers by providing the necessary information and training sessions to present our products and solutions to their customers.
What we are looking for
To thrive and succeed as our Area Sales Manager, you are experienced in sales and preferably, you have a technical background, enabling you to understand the technical aspects of air-conditioning and heating. You likely have track-record from a sales position within a technical market, and as of such, you are comfortable and experienced in developing both new and existing customers in a distribution network.
We are looking for a candidate who has a drive for achievement and an understanding for customer needs. You are proactive as you take the necessary initiative to develop new business, which you evaluate with an analytical mindset. You have a strong business and commercial understanding, and you excel at presenting and communicating solutions to stakeholders. Finally, you are comfortable with IT and you possess a professional proficiency in English.
