Our Detergent business is rapidly growing and we are therefore recruiting an Application Specialist to provide professional global support within the product line. The jobholder will work closely together with the local Getinge representatives to monitor sales and market penetration and will be given a great opportunity to become part of an ambitious team and a rapidly growing organization.
The position
As a global Application Specialist for the Detergent business you will assist our Sales organization with trouble shooting, in market training, registration document and collating new sales tools within the Detergent product line.
Your main key tasks will include:
• Provide technical back up to current and new chemistry offered globally
• Responsible for collating all technical information required, following guidelines for registration in specific markets
• Support in driving new product development from start to finish
• Liaising with MarComs to ensure all documentation is in line with CVI and drive sales tools
• Manage technical documents internally and externally
• Organise competitive testing and potentially white papers with 3rd party KOLS
• Ensuring all literature and sales tools are in the right languages and sufficient for the sales teams
• Assist in preparing presentations and training material for themselves and the team to present
The job will be home based, anywhere in Europe, but will include approximately 75-100 days per annum of global travel. You are expected to build up close relationships with our suppliers that are mainly located in the UK, Australia and USA. Regular trips to Getinge Disinfection's site in Växjö, Sweden, are also expected.
The ideal candidate
Our ideal candidate is technically savvy with a Microbiology or Chemistry degree accompanied with sound business sense.
Some of your key characteristics include:
• Chemistry or Medical sales & training experience, preferably from an international environment
• Any business certificates are beneficial
• Knowledge of the healthcare detergent and/or disinfectant business is a big plus
• Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills in English
• Knowledge of other European language would be beneficial
• Excellent ability to present and manage your own time well
As a person, you are outgoing, approachable and diligent with a strong inner drive and motivation. Thanks to your genuine people skills, you are an excellent team-worker with a great ability to work cross-functionally and to build long lasting relationships. Last but not least, you have strong customer focus and are willing to travel extensively to ensure a consistent market presence.
