Job Description
As an Application Engineer focused on new feature development, you will be a member of the Leica ConX product team. You will help shape our products by playing a key role in the operational aspects of ongoing planning, design, requirements engineering and product release activities for the Leica ConX cloud platform. You will enjoy the challenge of delivering features that integrate the entire Leica portfolio of surveying, 3D machine control technologies and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles that help our customers improve their construction process to deliver better results with more precision and efficiency than ever before.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an energetic, inquisitive and accountable individual who will work closely with the team as well as several cohesive teams working in parellel to align requirements with the product roadmap and project milestones. You will provide insight into technical requirements based on industry knowledge, practical experience and feedback from internal stakeholders and end users to ensure that our product is regarded as innovative and the market leader in precision and usability.
Required Qualification / Experience:
• Domain knowledge in at least one of the following with a perfect candidate possessing a combination - Surveying and 3D Machine Control in civil engineering applications, GIS web applications, cloud based software and API interfaces, Agile product development.
• Experience or demonstrable capability to engineer requirements guiding software application development.
• Strong communication skills to effectively describe product information, technical concepts and customer workflows effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience or eager to learn to be an expert in workflows specific to the Leica Machine Control product range including products for surveying (terrestrial and aerial) and 3D machine control applications including: drilling/piling, earthmoving, compaction, paving and snow grooming.

Travel Requirements
