You will work with us - Team Riktiga Vykort
You will be working in an autonomous and agile team that is responsible for the development and operations of the service. We work with an iterative and user centric approach (Design Thinking) where you, together with the entire team, will participate in the explorative and creative process of further improving the service from the insights we get from our users.
The service is available on three platforms: Web, Android, and IOS. You will be working closely with the rest of the team, but your mission will be Android development in Kotlin. Since the app is highly visual, it is important that you have an eye for graphics programming.
You will work on this
Your responsibility is to develop and maintain the Android app and so that we keep it relevant and user friendly.
In 2020 our app received the Swedish Design Awards, something we are very proud of. However, we take this as recognition we are on the right track, but we always strive to develop our apps and way of working. It is the user experience that counts in the end and there are no shortcuts to customer satisfaction.
As you will be part of a small but growing app team, it is important that you are experienced and used to take responsibility. Ideally you have developed, or been part of developing, a few successful apps from start to becoming loved by users. Equally important, we look for a new colleague that wants to be part of the team and enjoys discussing product, code or just hanging out.
You need to have experience and knowledge of this
- Developing Android apps in Kotlin.
- Collaborating with others to reach team goals.
- Been part of a journey like ours, where you have developed, or been part of developing, successful apps with a lot of users.
- Are used to work with coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- English in speech and writing.
It is an advantage if you have experience or knowledge of facilitating sprint reviews, mentorship. Swedish language skills (written and verbally) are a big advantage seeking this role, but not a must have.
