Aftersales Business Strategy & Sales manager
As Aftersales Business Strategy & Sales Manager you will be part of our creative and dynamic global Aftersales team. You will take lead for the strategy work and be responsible for the sales activities within aftersales. You will participate in further shaping the Aftersales function in a global company with operations in the highly competitive automotive industry. You will report directly to the Vice President Aftersales.
We are looking for an ambitious person with the right spirit and attitude who is passionate about the developing the Aftersales business and break old conventions.
We expect you to have a strong commercial outlook and an entrepreneurial approach to business development.
You have excellent communication skills with high ability to successfully pitch for new business ideas. You have a genuine interest in connected technology. The ability to intellectually move quickly between discussions on numbers, customers, products and business will be valuable. And last but not least, you want to have fun at work and be part of a great team.
The position is based in Gothenburg but will require travel on regular basis.
Responsibilities and tasks
• Take lead for the overall management of Aftersales strategic activities.
• Follow the commercial trends and forecast the future need
• Use market input and new ideas and participate in development of front end concepts and offers
• Investigate legal/commercial requirements
• Drive these offers and concepts towards implementation
• Take ownership of the management of the sales functions of the Aftersales business.
Requirements
• Strong commercial outlook and an entrepreneurial approach to business development
• Excellent communication skills to successfully pitch for new business ideas
• Very driven
• Genuine interest in connected technology
• University degree in Business or Marketing - Master degree or equivalent
• 3-7 years of related business/sales experience
• Strong excel and business analytical skills
• Experience from working in a Chinese company and speaking Mandarin would be an advantage
• Excellent English, written and spoken
• Ability to travel
• Enjoy working in a fast paced changing environment
