We are now recruiting an Aftermarket Business Development Manager for the Dealer Business Management in the Market Unit Nordic

Dealer Business Management is responsible for marketing and sales of parts, accessories and engines through the dealer network in the Nordic region. We are responsible to develop and improve our dealer network across the region. Our team consist of 7 highly skilled and great people located in Sweden and Finland, who are there to support our dealers and each other. The DBM team is now seeking an experienced Aftermarket Business Development Manager professional who has the drive and passion to contribute to the success of our team, dealers and customers and who knows that collaboration is the key to success to meet future business challenges.

Job description

You will be responsible to support our Dealer Business Area Managers with the commercial development of our Spare Parts business and the service and solutions offerings via the Nordic dealer network. You will be reporting to the Head of Dealer Business Market Unit Nordic and based in Sweden. The role of this position is to optimize spare parts, accessories, consumables and service businesses of the company in the assigned region, increasing turnover, service levels and profitability of our business also through the pricing, supply chain and market management.

Main tasks and areas of responsibility:
Help defining an efficient regional spare-parts strategy & concept
Lead the work in optimizing the marginal income of spare parts (optimization of profit, sales push-pull)
Analyze spares pricing dynamics with market criteria, working closely with the Dealer Business Area Managers to develop profitable and competitive pricing strategies and initiatives
Create and produce monthly reports including relevant continuous analysis of spares commercial data, including preparing information for optimal sales budgets and forecasts
Support the DBAMs and the markets, with price lists, price analysis, and follow-up with the Pricing Function at Global Aftermarket providing feedback and positive collaboration on a continuous basis
Work closely with the product owners in the central organization providing market input and data for improved initiatives
Develop collaboration initiatives with the colleagues from the European region to capture synergies to the overall business
Have a constructive input on the supply chain and logistics network of the spare parts business of the company on a regional level
Leading and driving revenue and profitability growth to the spare parts, accessories and consumables business
Understand the local market needs and adapt offerings accordingly
Elaborate and create trade and marketing campaigns to increase the share of business in the network for increased levels of customer satisfaction with improved availability of parts
Analyze proactively market potential, existing customers and competition, according to the type of product (OEMs), and define the priority actions to be carried out in the short, medium and long terms
Look into the service agreements offerings available through strategic OEMs in the Nordic region and define initiatives moving forward that would improve our share of business
Work closely with the Volvo Penta Centers collecting relevant input and data, and collaborate to define market driven sales initiatives for parts and services

Required knowledge, experience and personal attributes

To be successful in your new role we believe you have the following knowledge/experience:
Outstanding networking skills
Education: Technical, Industrial or Business Management university degree or similar education
At least 5 years of professional experience in leading position in Spares and pricing management in industrial companies
Excellent communications skills in written and spoken Swedish and English. Any additional language is an advantage
Outstanding knowledge of Microsoft Office Package, especially Excel
SAP R/3 knowledge is a considerable advantage
Strategic skills, able to work in international environment , excellent communicational , organizational and analytical skills
Experience of working with dealers and end-customers
Open to take on new challenges, and have a strong willingness and ability to learn and make progress
Strong integrity, leadership and team working capabilities are required as well as ability to work independently and travel abroad
Drivers license required
