We are looking for an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Leader to work with our expert Global Supply Chain Technical Operations team supporting the Cytiva business across the world. What you'll do
• Lead the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team within the GSC Technical Operations organization.
• Working in collaboration with the R&D organization with a focus on next generation Product and Manufacturing Process development.
• Focus on Innovation and next generation manufacturing process to drive production capacity and productivity.
• Research new technologies and implementing appropriately to realize manufacturing improvements that deliver increased quality and productivity.
• Input into a manufacturing technology strategy within GSC Strategy that aligns with the business goals and objectives for growth. Establishing manufacturing technology roadmaps in concert with product roadmaps and measurable customer outcome.
• Lead and/or support in new equipment projects or manufacturing methods for New Product Developments, Transfer of Production or Productivity Projects.
• Champion and support Smart Factory Strategy and implementation across all Bio-Pharma manufacturing sites.
• Driving process technology rigor, through standards, guidance docs, best practice sharing and technical support.
• Lead elements of the Technical Communities of Subject Matter Experts technology, driving collaboration, standardization and engagement.
• Manufacturing Technical Support to enable maximum manufacturing uptime, leading improvement and project teams.
• Ability to deliver training to the Engineering Community. Providing coaching and educating to upskill in line with new technology introductions.
• Shared Accountability on Project Say/Do with Site leadership including Budget, Timeliness and Benefit.
• Developing technical competency in Manufacturing Engineering across GSC, working closely with the Manufacturing sites technical teams.
• CapEx budgeting, justification of investments and control of budgets for new technology projects.
• Ensure quality compliance activities are resourced and executed.
• Maintain full regulatory compliance with EHS, FDA, OSHA and other legal requirements.
Who you are
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field (Science)
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in product and/or process design and development
• Recognized Process Engineering expertise. Competency with a breadth of technologies.
• Proven track record in Innovation and process Development.
• Strong Six Sigma skills in DMAIC and DFSS, Minimum GB Certified
• Working knowledge of Lean tools and Lean thinking.
• Solid working knowledge of GEHC QMS procedures for Design Controls and Design Transfer
• Good leadership skills and proven ability to manage effective global direct and dotted line teams and operating mechanisms.
• Strong Influencing skills. Resourceful and Inclusive. Comfortable working thru pushback.
• Strong communication Skills, written and verbal.
• Willing to travel internationally and domestically up to 25% of the time
