Administrative Project Leader

Job description:
What does a project leader do?
Project leaders ensure that the employer's requirements are met, that the project is completed on time and within budget and that everyone else is doing their job properly.
The project leader is responsible for the planning, management, co-ordination and financial control of the project. The person has to make sure to take care of every step of the project, from planning and implementation/execution to reporting during all the phases of the project. A project manager needs good organizational and communication skills.
You need to have a close contact with the employers (the cashier is the person you need to have the closest contact with).
As a project leader you always have to report your job and the project development with written reports to get positive/constructive feedback from your employers, which can help you to improve the project or solve potential problems.
You will create well defined goals for the project and reach these goals within the set timeframe and within the budget of the project. It's important that you are a flexible person who can take on new responsibilities that might be added to your job assignments.

The project leader needs organizational skills to create and maintain a written structure, to facilitate keeping track of development of the project.
Furthermore, it is important to have analytical and numerate skills combined with a commercial awareness, in order to get a detailed idea of how project money are spent and to make sure that everything is always kept on track.
Communication and diplomacy are good qualities to have in order to work with young people, as well as to be able to engage in conversations with external funders and the media.
Team work is the base of this job; it's fundamental to have good collaborative skills since you are going to work with other people, together with whom you need to structure your work.
Management skills are important since this project contains many micro-projects, needing leaders capable of co-ordinating them all.
Of course, you also need to be able to follow structures and assignments given by the employers. During the way it could happen that your employers assign you tasks different from those you were informed of when you were hired.
The position/s as Administrative Project Leader will also include the specific assignments of:
either
• economy administration and recruiting new group leaders for HaBiTat Q,
• bringing forward the TAGGA book, creating flyers, posters and material used to advertise the project and working in contact with young people at some occassions
or
• both of the above
Common to both positions are the following tasks:
• Handling the web page of the association
• Taking part in methodology development
• Taking part in common work and collaboration with other organizations
• Searching for funders
• Planning the project together with collegues
• Searching for a new premise
• Evaluating the project development
• Acting as a work manager for group leaders

Except for the ability to carry out the assignments listed above, you are required to have the following skills/qualifications:

• Knowledge of web design
• Ability of taking part in methodology development
• Language skills: fluency in Swedish and English is required, knowledge of other languages are meriting

• Knowledge of norm-critics
Other than that, you are also required to fit AT LEAST ONE of the following working profiles:
Profile 1:
• Skills in administrating economy
• Ability of taking part in the recruitment process of new group leaders
Profile 2:
• Editorial skills (to be able to bring forward the TAGGA Book)
• Basic knowledge of graphic design
• Experience of working with young people is meriting
