As the Acting Director Online & Content Communications you will be part of the Volvo Group Purchasing Communication team and work closely to the Senior Vice President Communications and continuously develop Online Communications. You will also be responsible to drive the digital strategy with the purpose to bring pride, engagement and motivation for the purchasing employees as well as increase value for our stakeholders, suppliers and customers.
Mission:
You will play an important strategic role in building strong engagement and high external attractiveness through SoMe channels, IT tools as well as our internal Volvo Group channels. You love to inspire colleagues to increase their utilization of communication tools and social media - together we put Volvo Group Purchasing on the map with the ambition of to be the best in the industry in supply chain communication.
Reporting to: Senior Vice President Communications Volvo Group Purchasing
Location: Gothenburg
Period: 12-13 months, starting February 15, 2021
Main responsibilities:
Internal channels strategy, structure and content
Developing volvogroup.com Supplier and Career pages
Volvo Group Supplier Portal - collaborate with our colleagues in Strategy for the overall structure, content, postings and updates
Maintaining and creating pages on Volvo Group's intranet, Violin
Publish purchasing content on Volvo Group LinkedIn
Creation and editing of videos: storyline/manuscript/recording/editing/VGML, Streams
Drive the weekly Newsdesk meetings as well as creating regular and frequent internal news
Daily monitoring the Newsdesk mailbox
Together with the Communications team, arrange events
Act in close cooperation with other Volvo Group Divisions and Business Areas
Active contributor in Volvo Group 's councils, committees and networks
Who you are:
You are basically always online because you burn for digital inspiration and you know the power of being an influencer. The successful candidate is curious, creative and innovative with a continuous improvement mindset. In our team, we rely on you that you are on top of all online tools.
What you have in your luggage:
You hold a University degree and are able to demonstrate successful international and multi-cultural business experience. You have a documented experience within Online Communications of minimum five years. You challenge the traditional ways of working. But most of all, you are a positive team player with an unquestionable can-do attitude.
The position requires:
Extensive expertise and experience in web platform and tools
Ability to demonstrate a clear vision and a global mindset
Ability to influence others to make things happen
Plan, create, execute and follow-up on communication plans
Ability to identify a good story when you hear it/see it
Strong written communication skills and are comfortable using all media & IT-tools
That you are always one step ahead as you need to cope working on a number of different tasks in parallel with conflicting deadlines
