Your role as Accountant
As an Accountant at Kustom, you'll play an essential role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly. You'll work closely with the Finance team to ensure accurate bookkeeping, timely reconciliations, and organized, audit-ready records. This is a hands-on role where you'll gain broad exposure to accounting processes while supporting the team in maintaining compliance and improving efficiency.From processing day-to-day transactions to collaborating with auditors, you'll be involved in the details that keep our financials precise and our operations moving. Your main tasks:Assist in processing accounts payable and receivable, expense claims and bank transactions
Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries, ledgers and general accounts, ensuring accurate and timely posting of transactions
Support monthly reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts (e.g. bank, vendors, employee expenses)
Help prepare documentation for month-end close and financial reporting
Conduct data accuracy checks to support the finance team
Collaborate with auditors and accounting firms, collecting and organizing documentation for audits and compliance
Work with cross-functional teams to gather supporting information and clarify transactions
Maintain organized accounting files and systems for audit readiness
Support the implementation of new processes, tools and controls to improve efficiency

About you

Skills and experience you'll need to succeed in the role:1-3 years of professional accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data
Reliable, structured and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Comfortable collaborating across teams and communicating clearly
Professional approach and commitment to confidentiality
Curiosity to understand the "why" behind processes and openness to feedback
