Bank of China Stockholm currently focuses on offering China-trade and related global business products and services to the Nordic market. It aims to bridge the trade to China and provide its customers professional and tailored business solutions.
General Responsibility:
As Accountant you will be part of Business Management Department of the Stockholm Branch. You will be responsible for accounting, bookkeeping and reporting for the Stockholm branch . You will report to the Head of Business Management Department.
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Accounting, bookkeeping
• Handling VAT and tax returns
• Maintenance and development of accounting policies and guidelines
• Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and regulations
• Monthly reconciliation and reporting package
• Budgeting and cost calculation
• Other ad-hoc general office/administration responsibilities as and when required
Basic Requirements:
You have a University degree in Accounting and a couple of years experience from a similar position. You have excellent knowledge of accounting and good knowledge in Swedish accounting standards and tax rules are required. Experience from working in an international environment is preferred. You are able to work independently, take responsibility and you are a motivated and positive person. The job requires excellent English and Swedish language skills, speaking in Mandarin is a plus.
