hela Sverige The Nordic Area, finance department, is looking for a new team-member for the accounting team working with Maersk Logistics in our Nordic and Baltic Sea Cluster. The accounting team consists of 3 people working with transactions for all Nordic entities (Sweden, Denmark and Finland).
The position is located at the Maersk Logistics/Damco office in Gothenburg, Sweden.
General areas of responsibility:
Provide statutory reporting in compliance with local regulations and AP Moller-Maersk General Accounting Principles (APMM GAP).
Ensure that the accounts in the cluster companies are updated in accordance with local regulations and APMM GAP.
Keep the fixed asset registers up to date at all times (new assets, scrapping, depreciation and sale).
Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations, tax accounting and VAT declarations.
Perform monthly and yearly accruals to reflect a true picture of the business.
Follow up on fixed costs on an office/product level monthly and communicate development to the business.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate is thorough and structured with a high attention to details and quality. The person has good communication and cooperation skills and thrives on working in a team with common goals and objectives.
Required skills:
Good finance and accounting knowledge.
Previous SAP experience and high level knowledge of excel is seen as an advantage.
Commercial awareness and good understanding of the value finance adds to the business.
