Accountant Expert - Leasing IFRS 16
From Record to Report, we are currently providing the accounting for most of the SKF companies in the North EMEA region. Our team consists of Chief Accountants, Accountants, and Experts in specific processes. We are working with many different systems, but the main companies use SAP.
We have an exciting future ahead of us, with an updated finance strategy. Finance will a have powerful role in the digital environment, and we want to be in the frontline of the next generation of Business Finance. We have Business Excellence as SKF's version of Lean, and we have just started the journey to Global Finance.
Key responsibilities
Manage and execute accounting activities with high quality
Be responsible for lease accounting transactions in the lease management system
Generate IFRS-16 calculations and provide periodic figures to accounting teams for statutory reporting purposes
Be responsible for specific month-end closing activities in a company or process leasing, and manage account reconciliations
Monitor lease activity to ensure appropriate accounting
Supervise specific financial reporting areas or a specific company on an everyday basis
Drive and coordinate reporting improvements and use SKF Business Excellence as the tool to reach future goals
Support the Chief Accountants
Requirements
University graduate with wide experience working in the Accounting/Finance area
Experience in SAP or other ERP-system and used to be finance process-oriented
Experience in lease accounting and IFRS-16 calculations
Computer literacy is essential and experience in MS office applications (excellent command of MS Excel is a must)
Up to date standard knowledge of corporate and local accounting rules

Additional information for you
Location: Gothenburg, Sweden. Local contract in SKF Sweden.
Record to Report consists of around 30 members today. All have long experience in accounting, and we really support each other as a team. You will report to the Delivery Manager - Record to Report, located in Gothenburg, Sweden.
