About bioMérieux Industry Applications

The analysis of an industrial sample (food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic products) or an environmental sample (water, air, surface), to determine its microbiological quality.
Industrial Microbiological Control

The food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries are required to control the microbiological quality and composition of their products. The industrial microbiology laboratory tests the sterility of a product (absence of microorganisms) or the absence of pathogenic bacteria (which cause infections), as well as ensuring that commensal bacteria (normally present in man and harmless in small quantities) are only present in quantities under a certain limit. Industrial microbiological controls are therefore performed throughout the production chain from raw materials to finished products, as well as in the manufacturing environment.

Account Manager Pharma Nordic

Job description

As Account Manager Pharma you will sell bioMérieux microbiological product range, including reagents, instruments and services in the Pharma, cosmetics, water & Biotech Market to existing and new clients. To implement the sales strategy by establishing and maintaining long term relations within the sales and marketing guidelines. To build a network amongst the decision makers (QA,QC,C-suite, consultants,..) and give a boost to the sales pipeline. This demands a high commitment, self-driven, result and customer oriented personality.

Profile, Desirable background and personal characteristics

o Bachelor / Master degree in microbiology and biotechnology
o Minimum of 3 years of positive sales experience
o Good understanding of the Pharma microbiology market is an advantage
o Fluent communication skills in Swedish or Danish and English are mandatory
o Self-driven and innovative
o Personal profile characterized by customer focus, result focus, solution orientation and service minded approach
o Good interpersonal skills and cultural awareness
o IT literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office Suite is mandatory

You will report directly to the Nordic Sales Manager Industry based in Denmark.
