2016 UPS launched the UPS Access Point service, which offers convenient delivery options to customers. The service enables customers to have packages delivered to drop-off points (eg convenience stores, gas stations), close to home instead of waiting for a home delivery. We are now recruiting an Access Point Retail Account Manager.
The Retail Account Manager maintains, develops, and recruits retail network partners owning multiple shops to expand the UPS Access Point network. Besides the big retail network partners, non-traditional centers located in hotels, convention centers, universities as well as nonprofit organizations could also be a potential target. The person will manage the Access Point network expansion and projects that assist UPS on the E-commerce growth strategy.
Main Accountabilities
Identifies international/national retailers, hotel ownership groups, hotel chains, university associations, non-profit organizations to develop relationships and expand the Access Point service offering by partnering with them.
Maintains relationships with existing retail partners, manages customer expectations, and contributes to sustaining a high level of customer satisfaction
Works with retail network partners to provide opportunities for them to grow revenue and increasing the foot traffic in their area.
Meets with retail network partners to develop key relationships.
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of customer's business and uses this information to partner consultatively; establishes and maintains relationships with key decision makers; consistently provides successful customer solutions.
Negotiates Contracts and Agreements with Strategic Partners.
Develops Integrated Solutions with Retail Partners to serve as a UPS Access Point.
Uses sales tools to research potential individual Access Point locations based on a geographical need as defined by the Proximity Satisfaction Index.
Manages project lifecycles, including project scope, resources, schedule, initiation, start-up/design, building, and deployment to see projects from beginning-to-end.
Ensures affected internal functions or groups are identified and works with them to negotiate process changes, ownership of processes, and to manage project impact.
Experience:
Sales skills demonstrated by proven track of success in sales.
Strong communication abilities including written, verbal and presentation skills. Presentation skills should encompass the ability to structure, design and deliver effective presentations through Teams or in person to a potential Access Point contact.
Excellent understanding of retail business processes.
Good understanding of UPS and competitive service offerings.
Excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
Customer minded with a strong entrepreneurial and creative attitude.
Excellent English skills both verbal and written are a must, additional Nordic languages are a strong advantage.
Driver's license and access to a car is a requirement.
Job details:
Our office is in Järfälla, Stockholm.
Full time, Permanent with 6 months' probation.
Labor agreement with Unionen.
