The Motion Service, Service Supply Unit (SSU) in Västerås, Sweden provides services and aftersales support to the worldwide installed base of large motors and generators manufactured in Västerås. As the Spare Parts Manager, you will lead a team of 15 people and be responsible for the sales and order fulfillment of spare parts for large motors and generators. The role reports to General Manager - Service Supply Unit Sweden.
Your responsibilities
Heading up the spare parts team that is responsible for sales and order execution of spare parts for large motors and generators.
Ensure high service levels towards customers and local ABB units.
Improve processes and systems for ease of doing business and effectiveness.
Work with price optimization, stock levels, lead time minimization to improve the business.
Assurance of full compliance to ABB code of conduct and integrity as well as health and safety standards.
Living ABB's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your background
University degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or similar.
At least 5 years' experience, ideally working with service, processes, and leadership.
Sound knowledge of international business and motors & generators.
Knowledge of SAP, SalesForce.com, ABB's OMS (BOL), etc., is a plus.
Service-minded attitude and strong customer focus.
Structured and communicative personality with full commitment to integrity.
