We are currently looking for an RF-system researcher and principal engineer to our RF group at our Kista office, to take on the challenge of guiding Huawei forward towards 5G and beyond.
You will work in an innovative team to perform research and pre-development of emerging technologies and RF-system concepts centered on transceiver hardware and signal processing algorithms.
You will be responsible for your own RF-system projects, as well as setting up and driving cooperation projects with external partners such as Universities or other research institutes. The work will be done in close cooperation with the rest of the RF group as well as with other R&D-oriented parts of Huawei?s Swedish and international organization.
Qualifications and experience
To be successful in this role the candidate should have more than 10 years of experiences from the RF area. Also required is solid knowledge of RF-systems, power amplifiers, filters, multi-radiator transceivers and digital signal processing. A background from working with hybrid beamforming networks is definitely a plus. Experience from previous similar industry research positions is desired but not mandatory. A Ph.D. in RF engineering or equivalent background is required.
Skills requirements;
The candidate must be very open-minded and eager to create, condense and share knowledge and experiences with others and should have a proven capability to pursue creative solutions.
A mindset focused on synthesis rather than just analysis is needed. Prior experience from international and multicultural work is necessary.
As we are a global company the candidate must be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
Good social and networking skills to support teamwork in project groups as well as ability to work independently is required.
Good communication, documentation and presentation skills are a must.
