Radio Design is responsible for research, development and maintenance of radio unit in Ericsson Radio Base station products. One of our major challenges is to develop and deliver high volumes Radio hardware in short timeframes.

Next generation hardware supporting all standard (GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, 4G LTE and TDD) with multi band architecture will be our next challenge.

We are searching for an experienced designer with a deep interest in Filter design.

The job is in the area of product development and will include several moments like:

• Simulations
• Link budgets
• Practical work with the filter prototypes
• Production support
• Design verification

The work is done according to our processes and documentation is an essential part.

We mainly work in projects team with approximately 5-10 persons.

You will work with very skilled colleagues in different competence areas. You will interface with radio system design, other design areas within the radio such as PA and RX design and mechanical design as well as production teas and technique. Co-operation with other design centers in Sweden, China and Canada is part of the work.

We use the latest design and simulation tools in our work. We keep track of new technology, methodology and design techniques, ensuring that radio design activities hold a competitive level.

Qualifications

You should have good knowledge of Filter design. Organizing and strong result-orientation come naturally to you. You are self-motivated, with the drive to solve problems and expand your knowledge.

You should also have:

• A MSc in Electrical engineering or similar
• Knowledge of Wireless Communication systems, incl. 3GPP, LTE and TDD
• Experience of Radio design
• Experience of Filter design.
• You are result-oriented, have good communication and cooperation skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken E
