If you want to be part of our team that design a truck of world class, and have an interest for wiring harnesses. Then continue to read, this position is for you.
We are currently looking for you who have an interest in working very closely with the product and have a problem solving mindset. You shouldn't be afraid to get your hands dirty since you might be out climbing a truck on test site one day to find the root cause to a problem. The next morning you might be sitting in front of your computer designing and document the solution to the issue.
We are a dynamic and diverse group with members from all over the world, so good knowledge in English is a must as well as being open minded. Speaking Swedish is an advantage, but not a necessity.
In our group you will have the opportunity to work with many different parts of the organization all over the world. Therefore, one of the qualifications needed for the job is to be able to communicate effectively and be able to establish networks within and outside your home organization. You will be part of different teams within the organization as well as leading small diverse teams yourself.

Role and Responsibilities
As a wiring engineer you will be responsible for a specific family of wiring harnesses as a complete unit during the complete lifecycle. Within that family you:
• Develop the wiring through concept phases up to serial production and maintenance while optimizing demands on quality, timing, cost and features
• Responsible of the technical release and documentation such as drawings, installation documentation and product structure
• Work in close co-operation with suppliers, systems engineering, system- and component owners, purchasing, manufacturing and aftermarket
• Work in one of our team, chassis or cab, towards a common goal

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics engineering
• Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written
• The work requires skills in both teamwork and individual work
• Structured, organized and motivated
• Power cables knowledge is a merit
• Knowledge in Saber is an advantage
