JOB DESCRIPTION
Axis’ overall goal is to further strengthen and develop the company’s position as the leading supplier of network video solutions. In order to do so we need enthusiastic and bright people. At the moment we are looking for a web developer to work with our Networked Video Products.
As web developer you will play an important part in development projects, producing software and the GUI for the embedded environment in our new products. You will belong to the department responsible for the development of all our network cameras, from idea to mass production. Your main tasks will be to:
• Participate in product development projects for network cameras
• Perform analysis and design of new functionality in our network cameras
• Integrate and verify software created by other Axis departments
• Perform debugging and find solutions
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
We believe you have a genuine interest in programming, as well as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or similar. You have experience of C programming, web development and have an interest in embedded Linux.
We also expect you to be a curious and result-oriented person, and that you work well on your own or as part of a teams. As teamwork is crucial for Axis, it’s important that you can contribute to a good team spirit, promoting a creative and stimulating work environment.
In addition to the above, experience from the following areas is desirable:
• Debugging
• Javascript, Javascript libraries
• Usability
• HTML5
